In this behind-the-scenes look, we’re sharing a full day in our studio, revealing the process from start to finish. 7:00 AM – The Studio Awakens
The day begins with a peaceful stillness, broken only by the soft hum of warmers heating up the soy wax. Our team arrives early to set the tone with clean workstations, sanitized tools, and calming music that fuels focus and creativity. The scent of essential oils fills the air—it’s time to begin.
8:00 AM – Melting the Wax
One of the most critical steps in our process is wax preparation. We use 100% natural soy wax, known for its clean burn and eco-friendly benefits. The wax is gently melted in double boilers and brought to the ideal pouring temperature. Precision is key; even a few degrees off can affect scent throw and texture.
9:30 AM – Blending Fragrance Oils
While the wax melts, our fragrance specialist prepares essential and fragrance oils for the day’s batches. Every blend is carefully measured and tested, ensuring the right balance between aroma and longevity. From calming lavender to seasonal favorites like spiced chai, each candle tells its own story.
11:00 AM – Pouring the Candles
With wax and fragrance ready, we begin the pouring process. Each vessel is hand-poured with intention, ensuring even fills and centered wicks. We batch in small quantities to maintain quality, pouring just enough to meet our daily production goals without compromising freshness.
1:00 PM – Cooling and Curing
After pouring, the candles are set on curing racks where they rest for several hours. This stage is crucial for the wax to solidify and the fragrance to bind properly. During this time, we take care of packaging prep, label printing, and a much-needed lunch break!
3:00 PM – Trimming and Labeling
Once cured, candles are inspected for quality. We trim the wicks to the perfect length and check for smooth surfaces and fragrance balance. Labels are applied by hand, aligned, pressed, and sealed for a clean, professional finish.
4:30 PM – Wrapping with Love
Finally, each candle is wrapped with care. We hand-tie bows, wrap in eco-friendly packaging, and prepare orders for shipment or display. It’s the finishing touch that makes every candle feel like a gift, whether it’s for you or someone special.
6:00 PM – Studio Reset
As the sun sets, we clean the space, restock supplies, and plan for the next day. It’s a quiet moment of reflection on the magic created in just one day—from raw wax to a beautifully wrapped candle, ready to light up someone’s world.
